About

A woman with dark hair in a bun is outdoors, wearing a brown strappy dress with a circular embellishment on the chest. She has intricate henna and jagua designs on her hands and fingers, and is smiling in a wooded area.

Sue Giger is the artist behind Midnight Museum Henna and has concentrated in henna art professionally since 2014. She loves exploring the history and culture of henna and sharing with others.

In 2022 she traveled to Morocco with other henna artists from around the world to study Moroccan henna technique with local artists. (Moroccan designs pictured here). With her over -a-decade experience studying and sharing henna, Moroccan designs and culture have a very special place in her heart.

In addition to henna, she has a vast artistic background, receiving a degree in Fine Art in 2000, concentrating in painting and drawing. Growing up in rural Missouri, she feels most at home surrounded by nature. Currently she lives in Lake Ozark, MO with her amazing partner, two rescue parrots, and cat. When not art-ing, she can be found playing in the water, lounging on the deck, training her parrots or volunteering with wildlife rehabilitation.
